When people visit my website or learn about the different things I do, they often ask a simple question: why coffee, art, and books? On the surface, these may seem like separate interests, but to me, they are deeply connected. Each one reflects a way I interact with the world and with people, and together, they form a foundation for how I share, teach, and grow.
Coffee is more than just a drink. For me, it represents the power of conversation. Some of the best discussions I’ve ever had happened over a hot cup of coffee. Whether it’s with a friend, a customer, or a stranger who becomes a new connection, coffee invites people to slow down and talk. It breaks barriers. It makes space for trust, laughter, and even prayer. Coffee is community.
Art is my way of expressing joy, curiosity, and reflection. Through paint, color, and design, I say things that words cannot. Art captures a moment, a mood, or a message that speaks differently to everyone who sees it. It is deeply personal, yet it reaches outward. Creating art reminds me to enjoy life, to look closely, and to be unafraid of bold ideas.
Books allow me to take the lessons I’ve lived and put them into a form that can be shared again and again. Writing helps me process what I’ve learned and invites others into the journey. My books are about growth, significance, and faith because those are the themes that have shaped me. They are written with the hope that readers will feel seen, encouraged, and challenged to become better than the day before.
In all of these areas, coffee, art, and books, I see a chance to connect with people, to share truth, and to live out the calling I believe God has placed on my life. Every cup brewed, every canvas painted, and every page written points back to a greater purpose. That purpose is not just about building a brand or selling a product. It is about building people.
If we are learning, we are growing. If we are growing, we are becoming. And if we are becoming, then we are walking in purpose.
I choose to trust God in that process and to use every tool He gives me, whether it comes in the form of a coffee roast, a paintbrush, or a written word.
